Within the framework of academic mobility, on 23.05.2022, Professor of the Surgical Diseases Department No. 1, Doctor of Medical Sciences, I. S. Ivanov gave a lecture for students of the medical faculty of the Fergana Medical Institute of Public Health on the topic “Hernias of the anterior abdominal wall”.
Ilya Sergeyevich revealed topical issues of diagnosis, modern aspects of surgical treatment of hernias of the anterior abdominal wall. The lecturer also paid attention to an integral part of modern surgical treatment of abdominal hernias – the use of synthetic endoprostheses.
The students of the FMRI thanked the lecturer for the informative lecture, practical examples, and clinical illustrative material.
