✅ The meeting was attended by:
a representative of the Center for Countering Extremism of the Kursk Region, S.V. Kozin;
the Rector’s Assistant for Security, M.T. Chahine;
the Director of the International Medical Institute of KSMU;
staff of the IMI KSMU;
and 215 students from 1st to 6th year.
The event was organized to strengthen the awareness of IMI KSMU students about Russian legislation related to extremist activities.
❗The meeting was held unscheduled in order to prevent violations of the laws of the Russian Federation by foreign citizens.
Students were informed about the need to observe public order, the inadmissibility of desecrating memorial sites and burial grounds, the importance of preventing negative behaviors, and the prohibition of unlawful actions, including those committed online.
❗The representative of the Center for Countering Extremism emphasized the strictness of Russian legislation both for Russian citizens and for foreigners. Students from different countries were once again warned about the possibility of deportation if they are deemed undesirable residents on the territory of Russia.
Students asked the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and KSMU staff various questions of interest.
