On November 20, 2025, as part of the visit of a delegation from Syiah Kuala University (Republic of Indonesia) to Kursk State Medical University (KSMU), a round table was held to discuss current issues in traumatology and orthopedics, as well as general hygiene, clinical nutrition, and public catering.

The meeting was moderated by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovative Development of KSMU, Professor V.A. Lipatov, and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Strategic Cooperation of Syiah Kuala University, Professor Safrizal Rahman, who presented the main scientific directions of their universities.

The discussion was attended by KSMU representatives: Director of the International Medical Institute KSMU, Associate Professor M.T. Chahine; Head of the Department of Traumatology and Orthopedics, Professor G.M. Dubrovin; Head of the Department of General Hygiene, Associate Professor O.M. Shepeleva; Associate Professor A.Yu. Lebedev; Associate Professor Rajkumar Densing Samuel Raj; and representatives of Syiah Kuala University: Vice-Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations, Professor Dr. Taufiq Saidi; and Director for Planning and Partnerships, as well as Cooperation in Clinical Nutrition, Public Nutrition and Public Health, Dr. Iflan Nauval.

The parties agreed on mutual participation in scientific and practical conferences, joint research projects, and the implementation of academic exchange programs for students and faculty.
