On November 20, 2025, Kursk State Medical University welcomed a delegation from Syiah Kuala University (Indonesia). The highlight of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities.
✍️ The agreement was signed by:
• Assoc. Prof. N.S. Meshcherina, Vice-Rector for Clinical Work and Development of Regional Healthcare, KSMU
• Prof. Dr. Taufiq Saidi, Vice-Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Public Relations, Syiah Kuala University
👥 The ceremony was attended by university leadership and representatives from both sides, including:
Prof. V.A. Lipatov, Assoc. Prof. M.T. Chahine, Dr. Safrizal Rahman, Dr. Iflan Naufal, and other KSMU staff.
🎯 The Memorandum aims to establish and strengthen cooperation in Medicine, Science, Education and Culture.
📈 Future plans include joint projects, development of academic and scientific mobility and sharing of knowledge and information between both institutions in the medical field.
🤝 This agreement marks an important step in expanding international academic collaboration.
