
As part of sociocultural adaptation activities, a preventive meeting was held at Kursk State Medical University for first-year international students who had arrived to study at KSMU. The event was organized by the International Medical Institute of KSMU in cooperation with law enforcement agencies and the university administration.
👥 The meeting brought together representatives of KSMU leadership, regional law enforcement authorities, migration services, the Center for Countering Extremism, fire safety specialists, and student campus administration.
ℹ️ The session was informational and introductory in nature. Students received important information on:
• Migration legislation of the Russian Federation
• Prevention of extremism, terrorism, and corruption
• Compliance with public order and legal norms
• Responsible behaviour in the youth environment, including online spaces
🚨 University staff also conducted briefings on fire safety and dormitory living regulations.
âś… Such meetings are held regularly and aim to improve student discipline and enhance awareness of Russian legislation among international students.
