On August 21, 2025, international first-year students of KSMU arrived from Malaysia, India, and Thailand for an introductory city tour. They explored famous landmarks like the Kursk Fortress, cathedrals, and museums, learning about local traditions. The students enjoyed seeing the Pushkin Theater, Philharmonic, and the newly opened “Na Polugore” and “Chess Territory” in Pervomaisky Park, discovering Kursk’s vibrant cultural and sporting life. Kursk, located in central Russia, is rich in history and friendly atmosphere. The students learned about the city’s educational reputation, with KSMU ranking high in international and Russian ratings. They also got familiar with the transportation system and local customs.
