International students of the International Medical Institute of KSMU visited the Kursk planetarium. The purpose of this event was to familiarize students with the wonders of the night sky and provide them with a fascinating and educational experience.
In the planetarium, the students were greeted by a high dome dotted with thousands of stars. A fascinating movie in English, “Secrets of the Universe” showed breathtaking images of constellations, planets and other celestial objects. They learned about the work of space telescopes, saw models of spaceships and familiarized themselves with theories explaining various aspects of outer space.
The lecturer talked about the origin of the universe, the formation of stars and galaxies, and the latest discoveries in the field of cosmology. The students were fascinated by the stories of how the first civilizations used the stars to navigate and predict the seasons. After watching the movie, the students got acquainted with the thematic exposition devoted to astronomy and space.
The visit to the planetarium left vivid impressions on foreign students. They not only expanded their knowledge of astronomy, but also gained a deep understanding of the role of science and technology in our understanding of the Universe.
Visit to Kursk planetarium became an important part of adaptation program for foreign students of International Medical Institute of KSMU.
