The hall is illuminated by multicolored lights, the multimedia screen shows Indian and Lankan nature. The feeling is as if the audience found themselves in India and Sri Lanka or in distant Nigeria.
“Student Spring of the Nightingale Region 2024” showed the power and beauty of the talents of young girls and boys performing on stage. These days the event included a vocalists’ festival “New Height” and a dance festival. Only the brightest and most talented guys from KSMU and other educational institutions of our city could get on the stage.
International Medical Institute of KSMU was represented by international students who received deserved awards in nominations of vocal and dance. Vocalists: Alahakun Sonath Keinula became the laureate of the 1st degree, Iheanacho Chijindu Chukwudirim became the laureate of the 2nd degree. Their confident performance impressed with sincerity and purity.
Dance groups from India and Sri Lanka presented dances in the categories of street, sports and folk dance. At the end of the competition, the students from India were awarded the title of 2nd degree laureate, while the mass dance of the students from Sri Lanka became the 3rd degree laureate. It was an incredible energy, filled with national flavor. It is very important that young people preserve and develop folk art and cultural traditions of their countries.
