Within the framework of the working trip to India for the First Russian-Indian Educational Summit, the Rector of KSMU Professor V.A. Lazarenko visited the Embassy of the Russian Federation in India and met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in India Denis Evgenyevich Alipov. Also at the meeting were Yulia Yevgenievna Aryaeva, Advisor on Education, Culture and Sports, and Mohamad Toufik Chahine, Director of IMI KSMU.
The parties warmly greeted each other, discussed issues of safety of Indian students in Kursk region, recognition of Russian medical education in India, problems and difficulties in the difference of curricula, opportunities for internship. During discussion of science issues the Ambassador recommended to hold joint activities with Indian medical universities in the field of science, and to study aspects of possibility to open a branch of KSMU in India.
Mr. Ambassador wished success in implementation of KSMU plans at the First Russian-Indian Educational Summit.
