Rector of Kursk State Medical University, Honored Physician of the Russian Federation, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Chairman of Kursk Regional Society of Surgeons, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Victor Anatolievich Lazarenko gave a welcoming speech to the participants.
The main goal and objective of this forum: integration of modern achievements of scientific and research approach into routine practice of a doctor, improvement of screening and early diagnostics methods, ophthalmopathology, development of preventive measures.
The greatest interest of the participants was aroused by the issues of children’s ophthalmology, modern methods of vision correction, stabilization of myopia, which is leading in the structure of primary morbidity in our region, and everywhere, the indicators of this pathology are approaching the pandemic.
The conference was attended by ophthalmologists from leading specialized federal centers of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yaroslavl, Belgorod and other regions.
