The beginning of studies far from the homeland for many foreign students implies a period of adaptation to a new socio-cultural and educational environment. In order to help students adapt to the new life situation and find friends in a foreign country, concerts and evenings of national culture are held at Kursk State Medical University.
On December 20, 2023, a fun student concert “Fresh beginnings: Formal Elegance” was held where newly arrived students from India showed their many talents. The best friends, including faculty, university staff and students from different courses of IMI KSMU gathered to support the freshmen.
Fireworks of colorful bright costumes, rousing dances and favorite Indian melodies. Both songs and dances were instantly picked up by the hall, all present got unforgettable emotions. Miss and Mr. among the freshmen of India were determined at the event. The Committee of the Indian Compatriots also invited friends from Russia, Africa and Sri Lanka to the celebration, who gladly presented their national art. No one was left without New Year gifts and joy from the concert organized with heart.
