The story of a woman develops in the summer of 1943. In the midst of the Battle of Kursk. A German teacher lives in a small Kursk village, the war has taken away her husband, son and all those who were dear to her, the villagers have turned away from her, because she is for them a “Kraut” who taught their children the language of the enemy.
Magnificent work of the director, admirable acting, scenery, light, musical accompaniment – all this fully conveyed to the audience all the tragedy of the collective image of women in the war.
