On February 21, a meeting was held at the Kursk State Medical University to discuss grant support for scientific and social projects.

The meeting was attended by: V.A. Lipatov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Work and Innovative Development of KSMU, Professor, L.E. Pavlova, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Youth Policy, Physical Culture and Sports of the city of Kursk, A.P. Shklyarik, Head of the Ano “Center for Civil and Social Initiatives of the Kursk Region”, i.v. Polishchuk, Head of the MBU “City Center for Social Programs “Spectrum”, A.Yu. Grigoryan, Head of the Department of Management of Scientific Development and Intellectual Property of KSMU, m.p. Kurkina, Head of the Department of Economics and Management of KSMU,  Yu.L. Petrachevskaya, Head of the Research and Innovation Center of KSMU,   n.a. Severianova, Project Manager of the Ano “Center for Civil and Social Initiatives of the Kursk Region”.

The meeting participants discussed the conditions for participation in grant competitions, which received co-financing from the Presidential Grants Fund, new directions in the organization of grant support, the peculiarities of providing free consultations to interested parties on obtaining grants, the sequence and procedure for obtaining grants at various grant sites.

According to Vice-Rector for Research and Innovative Development, Professor V.A. Lipatov, Kursk State Medical University is an open platform for the implementation of various projects in demand not only in medicine. The practice of interaction between applicants and grantors is increasingly intensified, which increases the effectiveness in the implementation of projects.

Following the meeting, the participants noted its importance and usefulness, as well as the intention to continue cooperation.
