On February 1, 2023, 1st year students of the International Medical Institute from India, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Malaysia and other countries under the guidance of IMI teachers N.M. Monovtsova and N.V. Mokhneva visited the Kursk Regional Scientific Library named after N.N. Aseev, where they had an exciting tour in all the halls.

The staff members of the library told about modern opportunities for working with the library fund, introduced students to a variety of collections of books, magazines and newspapers. Students liked the atmosphere of the library, stylish, updated space for comfortable independent work, the ability to work on the Internet using open access via Wi-Fi in all rooms. They were explained the rules for registering as a reader, the rules of behavior in the halls of the library and the basic conditions for handling books.

In the hall of foreign literature, students saw books in different languages of the world, learned about the work of the library international club “Globus”, in which they were invited to meetings dedicated to the cultures of the peoples of different countries.

Students also saw paintings and a collection of coins presented at the exhibition in the library.

At the end of the excursion, the students thanked the library staff members not only for an interesting but also useful event.
