On September 30, II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Cell Technologies in Experimental Medicine” was held at Kursk State Medical University. This year the geography of the conference has significantly expanded and its participants were leading scientists from 33 cities of Russia and 3 countries of the near and far abroad. The purpose of the conference was to highlight approaches to regenerative medicine, creation of tissue engineering structures and methods of cellular pathology modeling. An important aspect was the involvement of colleagues in the joint implementation of scientific and innovative projects.

Within the framework of the conference, a significant event took place – the signing of agreements on cooperation between Kursk State Medical University and Regional Open Social Institute in the field of using nanoparticles of chemopreparations in cancer treatment.

In-person participants of the conference were employees of the National Research University “BelSU”, Laboratory of Cell Physiology and Pathology of the Research Center for Biomedical Photonics, Department of Clinical and Motor Neurosciences of the Institute of Neurology of the University College of London. Colleagues shared their achievements in cellular technologies and proposed ideas for joint scientific areas. A large block combined reports on mitochondria as targets in the mechanism of neurodegenerative diseases.

As a result of the conference, a resolution will be formed, which will reflect the main problematic issues and proposals for their solution.
