On June 29, IMI KSMU celebrated a big event. 268 International students (12 with honors) from 16 countries received their degrees. 257 of them received education in the field of General Medicine, and 11 –biotechnology.
The graduation ceremony was attended by the Minister of Health of the Kursk Region E.V. Pishnaya, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to RF Prof. Janita Liyanage, Secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Brazil to the RF Bianca Jean-Pierre, representatives of Kursk city administration, the Regional Duma, the city Assembly, and graduates’ parents and relatives.
In his welcoming speech, the rector of KSMU, Prof. Viktor Anatolyevich Lazarenko, stressed that our university fulfills the tasks of exporting medical education set by the President of the Russian Federation, and he also wish all the graduates’ success in their professional life.
