The interdisciplinary reading hall of the medical university library on Mayakovsky Street has become a true point of attraction for international students.

Upon entering the space, students were impressed by its unique design: a two-level hall styled as a classical study, creating a strong sense of connection to the world of science and history. The walls are decorated with portraits of prominent Russian figures, scenes from world history, and famous artworks, while medical-themed panels remind students of their future profession.

đź“– The library collection also drew special attention. Students highlighted the wide selection of fiction, academic, and scientific literature available in both English and Russian.

🎨 A highlight of the visit was an exhibition by the “Spektr” painting studio, featuring still life works inspired by Dutch and Russian artistic traditions. The students admired the creativity and skill of the young artists.

🔔 One exhibit stood out in particular — a handcrafted wooden bell made by the rector, Professor V.A. Lazarenko. For many students, it became a symbol of the warm and creative atmosphere at the university.

The visit to the library marked an important step in introducing international students to the academic environment, showing that the university offers not only high-quality education, but also an inspiring space for growth and self-development.
