On 12 December, Constitution Day of the Russian Federation, the 13th Peace Forum “We Are Different — We Are Together!” was held at the Helios City Youth Center. The event brought together representatives of government authorities, public organizations, national diasporas, students, and international youth.
🕊️ The forum focused on the core values of Russia’s multinational society — unity in diversity, peacebuilding, and civic harmony — which are especially significant for the Kursk region, home to representatives of more than 100 nationalities.
The forum also highlighted KSMU’s international student community, which brings together students from 42 countries, reflecting the university’s multicultural environment.
✨ A special contribution to the forum program was made by Sri Lankan students of KSMU, who proudly presented their homeland, emphasizing its rich culture, traditions, and national identity. Their performance included a heartfelt national dance titled “Sri Lanka in My Heart,” during which the students explained the meaning of their country’s name and presented traditional gifts to the attendees.
🤝 KSMU’s participation in this important event once again demonstrated the university’s strong commitment to intercultural dialogue, peacebuilding, and social harmony.
