INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS OF KSMU VISITED KURSK PICTURE GALLERY NAMED IN HONOR OF A.A. DEJNEKI “MASTERPIECES OF RUSSIAN PAINTING FROM THE ASSORTMENT OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PRIVATE COLLECTIONS OF THE PUSHKIN STATE MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS”

During the whole working period of the exhibition, more than 400 international students of the Kursk state medical university took a great interest and visited the exposition.

The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and Kursk State Picture Gallery named in honor of A.A. Dejneki involving cultural platform ART-OKNO – the project of the charity fund, belonging to Alisher Usmanov, “Art, Science and Sport” – presented the exhibition “Masterpieces of Russian Painting from the Assortment of the Department of Private Collections of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts” that was held in the showroom of the gallery named in honor of A.A. Dejneki.

There were 38 works of national art of XVIII–XX centuries, paintings of the greatest masters of Russian arts – V.L. Borovikovsky, V.G. Perov, I.I. Shishkin, N.S. Goncharova and other painters.

The students got many positive impressions from the visit to the gallery. They made photos of the paintings that they liked most in order to share them with friends.

Holding social activities not only develops aesthetic sense, broadens minds of students in the sphere of art, but also helps in the formation of professional competences and personal enhancement.
